Let me start by saying this Belkin MagSafe charger is a game-changer for my nightstand. The clean white design blends perfectly with my Apple ecosystem, and the weighted base keeps it from tipping over—something cheaper models struggle with.
The 15W Qi2 charging for my iPhone is impressively fast. I love how the magnets snap my phone into place even through my thin case. Waking up to a fully charged phone every morning (well, almost every morning—more on that later) feels luxurious.
The adjustable angle is perfect for StandBy mode. I use it in landscape to check the time at night and switch to portrait when I need to quickly glance at notifications. The simultaneous charging for my AirPods and Apple Watch means fewer cables cluttering my space.
Now for the not-so-great: Like some reviewers mentioned, about once a month I'll wake up to find my phone didn't charge overnight. The magnets are strong enough that the phone stays attached, but somehow doesn't charge. It's frustrating when it happens before a busy workday.
The watch charger could be better designed too—my watch sometimes slides off-center during the night. And yes, there's a faint buzzing sound that my partner can hear but thankfully I can't.
At this price point, I expected perfection. While it's definitely better than cheaper alternatives (I've been through several), these occasional issues keep it from being flawless. That said, when it works—which is most of the time—it's absolutely fantastic.
