After using the KRAUS Standart PRO™ 33-inch sink for several months, I can confidently say it's transformed my kitchen routine. The first thing you'll notice is its massive size – it effortlessly accommodates my largest roasting pans and cutting boards, making post-cooking cleanup a breeze.
The stainless steel construction is impressively durable. Despite daily abuse from pots, pans, and even the occasional paintbrush (thanks to my husband), it still looks brand new after a quick wipe-down. The included dish grids are genius – they protect the bottom while providing a perfect drying rack for clean dishes.
I absolutely love the undermount installation. It creates such a sleek, seamless look that elevates our entire kitchen aesthetic. Multiple guests have complimented how modern and professional it makes our space look.
The garbage disposal is where this sink really shines. The 3/4 HP motor handles everything I throw at it without hesitation. From watermelon rinds to vegetable scraps, nothing stands a chance against its powerful grinding action. The continuous feed feature means I never have to stop mid-meal prep to empty the disposal.
Now for some real talk – the sink's depth (10 3/8") can be both a blessing and curse. While fantastic for soaking large items, it does require some bending if you're washing dishes by hand for extended periods. At 5'6", I occasionally need to take breaks during big cleanup sessions.
The only significant drawback I've found is the drainage pitch. Food scraps sometimes need some encouragement to reach the strainer, requiring extra spraying or sponge work. It's not a dealbreaker by any means, but definitely noticeable during daily use.
Considering its premium features and build quality compared to sinks costing hundreds more, this KRAUS model delivers exceptional value. Between its stunning looks, practical functionality, and included accessories (that microfiber towel with hanging ring is brilliant), it's easily one of my favorite kitchen upgrades ever.
