Let's talk about this Physics Matters activity book. On the surface, it's got solid content that aligns well with conceptual physics learning. The exercises are thoughtfully designed to reinforce textbook concepts through practical applications.
However – and this is a big however – my copy arrived with HALF the pages already torn out! Imagine opening a brand new notebook to find every other page missing. That's essentially what happened here. While the seller described it as 'good condition,' they failed to mention this critical flaw.
The remaining activities that were intact proved useful for my study sessions. The problems were engaging and helped cement my understanding of physics principles. But the missing content created noticeable gaps in my learning progression.
If you're considering this activity book, I'd strongly recommend:
1) Verifying with the seller about completeness
2) Being prepared that you might need to supplement with other resources
3) Considering if a digital version might be more reliable
The potential is there, but buyer beware – you might end up with what feels like a sampler rather than a complete learning tool.
