Let's dive into my experience with the Lenovo IdeaPad Flagship Laptop. First off, the specs are impressive - 20GB RAM and 1TB SSD make multitasking a breeze. I've had 15+ Chrome tabs open while streaming music and editing documents with zero lag.
The display is decent for everyday use, though I wish it was Full HD instead of HD. Colors look good enough for Netflix binges, but graphic designers might want something sharper. The webcam is surprisingly clear for Zoom calls - way better than most built-in laptop cams I've used.
Now the big letdown: NO backlit keyboard despite what some listings claim. This was super frustrating when working in dim lighting. I had to buy a separate USB light which feels ridiculous for a 'flagship' laptop.
The S Mode situation is another headache. While you can switch out of it, the process isn't obvious if you're not tech-savvy. I helped three friends disable S Mode - Microsoft really shouldn't ship laptops like this by default.
The included accessories are nice bonuses though! The wireless mouse and earbuds work well, saving you about $50 in extras you'd normally buy separately.
Bottom line? Great performance let down by some misleading features and Windows quirks. If you can live without backlit keys and don't mind tweaking settings, it's solid value. But power users might want to look elsewhere.
