I recently got my hands on the 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot, and I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, the idea of a portable hotspot that can connect up to 10 devices is fantastic, especially for travel or outdoor activities. But on the other hand, my experience with it hasn't been entirely smooth.
The setup was a bit confusing at first. The description doesn't mention that you need to disable the PIN code on your SIM card and modify the APN settings. It's not exactly plug-and-play, which might be frustrating for less tech-savvy users.
When it works, the speed is decent. I've used it in various locations, and while it doesn't always reach the advertised 300Mbps, it's generally fast enough for browsing and streaming. However, I've noticed frequent connection drops, especially when multiple devices are connected.
The battery life is one of its strong points. The 3200mAh battery lasts through most of my workday without needing a recharge. It's also compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry around in my bag.
Unfortunately, reliability is where this device falls short. Like some other reviewers mentioned, my phone's hotspot often provides a more stable connection. For the price, I expected better performance.
If you're looking for a basic portable hotspot and don't mind occasional troubleshooting, this might work for you. But if you need something rock-solid reliable for important work or streaming, you might want to look elsewhere.
