Let me tell you, this cooler punches way above its weight class. I've been running it on my Ryzen 7 5800X for three months now, and it's handled everything from 4K video editing to marathon gaming sessions without breaking a sweat (literally).
The dual-tower design with those six heat pipes isn't just for show - during a Cinebench run, my temps stayed a cool 68°C compared to the 85°C I was getting with my old cooler. And those TL-C12B fans? Whisper quiet until you really push your system.
Installation was... interesting. The instructions could definitely be clearer (I may have installed the backplate upside down first try), but once you figure it out, the mounting system is actually quite clever. Just make sure to check your RAM clearance - my taller RGB sticks barely fit underneath.
The all-black aesthetic is chef's kiss perfect for my build. No more beige Noctua eyesore (sorry Noctua fans). My only gripe? The included thermal paste is mediocre at best - do yourself a favor and use something higher quality.
For under $50, this performs like coolers twice its price. Unless you're doing extreme overclocking, there's really no need to spend more. This is hands-down the best value in air cooling right now.
