As a kindergarten teacher constantly on the hunt for engaging science resources, I was thrilled to discover 'Move It!: Motion, Forces and You'. This book has become my go-to for introducing physics concepts to little learners.

The colorful illustrations immediately grab children's attention - my students literally crowd around during read-alouds. What I love most is how it transforms complex ideas like force and motion into simple, relatable examples (think pushing toys or rolling balls).

Practicality shines through with the easy classroom experiments. We've done nearly all of them using basic materials like marbles and toy cars. The 'Push and Pull' demonstration using chairs was particularly effective - the kids still talk about it weeks later!

While perfect for K-2nd grade, I did notice some activities require more space than our cramped classroom allows. Also, a few science terms could use slightly clearer explanations for very young readers.

After testing this with three different kindergarten classes, I can confidently say it's one of those rare educational books that's equally loved by teachers and students. It's earned a permanent spot on my science shelf!
