Let me start by saying I had high hopes for the QTTYELOK Wifi Access Control System. The idea of managing my building access through Tuya APP with multiple verification modes sounded fantastic in theory.
The setup was surprisingly easy - I had the keypad mounted and connected to WiFi within 15 minutes. The IP68 waterproof rating gives me peace of mind for outdoor installation, and the backlit keypad is genuinely convenient at night.
Where things fall apart is reliability. Like other reviewers, I experienced constant disconnections from WiFi even when placed close to my router. The Tuya APP functionality is great when it works, but that's maybe 60% of the time in my experience.
The included keyfobs work well enough, though I did encounter one that mysteriously couldn't be removed from the system. More concerning is the complete lack of local management - if your WiFi goes down or the app won't connect, you're locked out of all user management functions.
For basic RFID access in a small setting, it might work okay. But for serious access control needs or locations where reliable WiFi isn't guaranteed, I'd recommend looking at more robust systems despite the attractive price point.
