Let me start by saying, these cleats are a hit with my little soccer star! The Messi branding alone got him excited, but the performance won us both over.

The snug fit is fantastic - the adjustable laces let you really customize how tight they feel. My kid plays midfield and needs that secure feel when making quick cuts, and these deliver.

I was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight they are. Some cleats feel like bricks on small feet, but these are light enough for all-game comfort without sacrificing durability. We've put them through two months of practices and weekend games, and they're holding up great.

The multi-ground outsole works perfectly on different surfaces - we've used them on both firm natural grass and artificial turf with equal success. The traction is excellent without being overly aggressive for young players.

Now for the downside: we did experience the same sizing issue mentioned in other reviews. The box said size 3 but contained size 2.5 cleats. Thankfully they still fit (kids grow fast!), but this seems to be a recurring quality control problem that adidas should address.

Overall though? These are excellent cleats for the price point. They look sharp, perform well, and have that cool Messi factor that makes kids feel like pros. Just maybe order a half size up to account for potential sizing discrepancies!
