Let me start by saying this myQ Smart Garage Door Video Keypad is a HUGE upgrade from traditional garage keypads. The wide-angle camera gives me complete visibility of my driveway, and the two-way audio is crystal clear - perfect for telling delivery guys where to leave packages.

The customizable PIN codes are revolutionary. I've set up temporary codes for dog walkers and permanent ones for family members. Being able to restrict access hours gives me peace of mind that no one can enter my garage at 3 AM.

Installation was surprisingly easy - just two screws and about 5 minutes of my time. The reversible mounting plate is genius for getting the perfect camera angle whether you mount it left or right of the door.

Now for the not-so-great parts: The battery life could be better. In cold Chicago winters, I only get about 6-7 weeks before needing to recharge. And when it dies, you lose ALL functionality until it's charged again - no keypad, no camera.

The video storage system was frustrating until recently when Chamberlain finally fixed the bulk delete function (hallelujah!). Night vision could definitely be improved too - it's pretty grainy compared to daytime footage.

Pro tip: If your Wi-Fi signal is weak near your garage, consider getting an extender before installing this. The camera feed gets choppy without strong connectivity.

Despite these minor drawbacks, I'd buy this again in a heartbeat. The security benefits far outweigh the inconveniences, especially at this price point. Just maybe keep a spare battery on hand!
