Let me start by saying these filaments are *gorgeous* in person. The glittery galaxy black literally looks like a starry night, and the glow-in-the-dark green actually glows (unlike some competitors). I printed a constellation nightlight for my niece that made her squeal - that's the magic right there.
The good: These print surprisingly strong. My articulated dragon in glitter gold survived being thrown across the room by a toddler (true story). Bed adhesion is excellent - zero warping even on my unheated Ender 3. The chameleon blue shifts colors beautifully in sunlight.
The not-so-good: You NEED that 0.6mm nozzle they recommend. Tried with 0.4mm and had two clogs before switching. The glow filament arrived slightly damp (common with specialty PLAs) - had to dry it overnight first. Also, the color shift isn't as dramatic in prints vs the spool.
Pro tip: Print at 205°C (lower than standard PLA) to minimize stringing on the glitter varieties. And yes, you'll get sparkly dust everywhere - embrace it!
Final verdict: Worth it for special projects where you want that wow factor, but maybe not your everyday workhorse filament. That glow-in-the-dark print lighting up at bedtime? Priceless.
