The packaging deserves its own shoutout – arrived in a literal wooden crate like fine china. Took me 20 minutes (and some creative cursing) to unpack, but knowing my $200 investment was protected made it worthwhile. That included EVA foam mat is genius – no more wobbles on my uneven desk!

Where this tank really shines (literally): light transmission. My red plants pop like never before under the same LED lights. The silicone seams are so clean they disappear when filled – no distracting lines breaking up the underwater view.

Not perfect though: The plastic 'Landen' logo feels cheap on this premium product (I peeled mine off). Also be warned – you'll need DIY skills for a lid as none's included. My temporary clingfilm solution isn't exactly Instagram-worthy...
