After testing the Trushome adjustable angle doorbell mount for a few weeks, I have mixed feelings. The ability to tilt my Ring doorbell up to 70° horizontally and 15° vertically is genuinely useful for capturing packages left at odd angles on my porch. The installation was indeed tool-free (just the included screwdriver) and took under 5 minutes - a major plus for renters like me.
However, calling this "anti-theft" is laughable. As other reviewers noted, anyone with a basic screwdriver could remove it in seconds. The bulky outer case makes your sleek doorbell look like it's wearing oversized armor - I eventually removed it entirely and mounted directly to the bracket (which worked perfectly with longer screws).
The foam pad mounting system feels insecure compared to screw mounts. During heavy rain, I noticed slight movement that required readjustment. While the angle adjustment solves blind spots, the mechanism isn't as precise as I'd hoped - more like 50° than the advertised 70°.
For $25, it's a decent solution if you need angle adjustment and don't mind the bulkiness. But if security is your main concern, look for alternatives with tamper-proof screws or hidden mounting points.
