Let me start by saying this camera is an absolute vibe. The silver accents and classic design make it feel like a luxury item, but it's surprisingly lightweight and easy to carry around. I've taken mine to parties, on weekend trips, and even keep it behind my bar (inspired by that Savannah bartender's brilliant idea!).
The one-touch selfie mode is genius - that little mirror makes all the difference when you're trying to capture group shots. Though pro tip: don't make my mistake thinking you need to push the lens in for selfies (it's actually pulling it out further). The photos have that perfect nostalgic quality - slightly blurry with warm tones that make every moment look straight out of a 90s scrapbook.
Now for the not-so-perfect parts: That flash? Yeah, it's always on whether you want it or not. I learned this the hard way taking pictures of my black cat - the shots in dim lighting came out beautifully moody, but anything in normal room lighting looked like a nuclear explosion went off. Also be warned - the viewfinder isn't perfectly aligned. After wasting a few films (ouch), I learned to aim slightly up and to the right of what I actually want in frame.
The film cartridges do add up cost-wise, but there's something magical about handing someone a physical photo they can slip in their wallet immediately. Just maybe don't make this your primary camera unless you're ready to embrace its quirks as part of the charm!
