Let me start by saying, this little camera packs a punch for its price point. I've taken it hiking, swimming, and even on a few bike rides – it's held up surprisingly well.
The dual screens are a game-changer. The front screen makes vlogging and selfies so much easier than my old action cam where I had to guess the framing. The touchscreen on back is responsive enough, though it can be tricky to use with wet fingers.
Image quality in daylight is impressive for the price. My 4K footage looks crisp on my computer screen, though I did notice some noise in low-light situations. The EIS stabilization works decently for casual use - my bike ride footage was watchable, though not perfectly smooth.
Where this camera really shines is the included accessories. Two batteries mean I can shoot all day (each lasts about 90 minutes in 4K). The waterproof housing feels sturdy - I took it snorkeling at 30 feet with no issues. The mounting kit has every adapter you could need.
The app connection can be frustratingly slow sometimes when transferring files, and the audio quality is definitely the weak point (everything sounds a bit muffled). But considering this costs less than half of comparable brand-name models, these are compromises I'm willing to make.
For beginners or casual users who want decent 4K footage without breaking the bank, this is a solid choice. Just don't expect GoPro-level performance - but then again, you're not paying GoPro prices either!
