These fish feeding rings are a simple yet brilliant solution for messy eaters. I've struggled with flake food spreading everywhere in my 30-gallon tank, but these rings keep everything contained. The fish quickly adapted to their new 'dining area,' and cleanup is way easier.
The suction cups hold surprisingly well, though they do struggle if the water level drops significantly. I love that they come in two shapes - the square one works better for my community tank while the round one is perfect for my betta's solo setup.
One minor issue: the holes could be slightly larger for frozen bloodworms. I ended up carefully enlarging them with a drill bit. Also, when removing them for cleaning, be gentle as the temperature markings can rub off.
For multi-fish households, having two rings is genius. I place them at opposite ends so my territorial gouramis can eat in peace. While some food still escapes due to water current, it's dramatically less than before.
The blue color blends nicely with my tank decor, and after months of use, there's no discoloration. They float perfectly at normal water levels and have significantly reduced food waste in my substrate.
