Let me start by saying this set is packed with potential. The VIVITORY Balance Board Trainer comes with 15 accessories, promising a full-body workout at home. I was genuinely excited to try it out, especially for core strength and balance training.
The balance board itself feels sturdy when you first step on it. The anti-slip surface is great for barefoot workouts, and the 10-ply birch construction seems durable - at least initially. I appreciated how compact it is; you can easily stash it under a desk or in a closet.
However, the resistance band hooks are where things get problematic. During my third workout session, one of the hooks popped out unexpectedly while I was doing rows. Thankfully I wasn't at full tension, but it definitely made me wary of using the bands at their maximum resistance after that.
The ab roller wheel works decently well - probably the most reliable piece in the set. But the lack of detailed instructions is frustrating, especially for beginners who might not know how to properly use all the accessories.
For $60, you're getting a lot of equipment, but quality control issues hold it back from being truly great. If you're careful with the bands and don't mind some DIY fixes (like wedging something behind the hooks), it can be serviceable for light to moderate workouts.
