As a parent who's tested dozens of kids' gadgets, I was excited to try the Cosjoype Smart Watch with my 8-year-old. Here's the real deal after 3 weeks of use:
The Good: The battery life is LEGIT. We charged it once and it lasted through a whole week of camera use, games, and step counting. The HD camera surprised me - my kid took some shockingly decent selfies (with hilarious stickers!). The habit tracker feature is genius - we set reminders for brushing teeth and it actually worked!
The Bad: Setup was confusing AF. The instructions might as well have been in hieroglyphics. Took me 45 minutes to figure out the parental controls. Also, while there are 26 games, about half are just reskinned versions of the same puzzles.
Real Talk: My daughter adores this watch, especially taking videos of our dog. But I'm keeping my receipt - several reviews mention it dying after a few months. The metal frame feels sturdy though, surviving multiple drops already.
Who's It For? Perfect for kids aged 6-10 who want a 'big kid' watch without internet access. Just don't expect smartphone quality - this is essentially a fancy Tamagotchi with extra steps.
