Let me start by saying these little glass fish and dolphin ornaments are ADORABLE. I mean, they legit made my betta fish do a double-take when I first dropped them in the tank. The hand-painted colors are vibrant (no fading after 2 months!), and watching them bob around with the current is weirdly therapeutic.
PROS: The adjustable floating feature works surprisingly well - just add/remove water from the hollow ball or tweak the fishing line length. My neon tetras keep nibbling at the dolphin's tail like it's their new BFF. Plus, zero sharp edges (I ran my fingers over every inch - fish safety first!).
CONS: Got a dud right out of the box - one fish's hanging loop was MIA like in that review I saw. Had to MacGyver it with fishing line. Also, the glass feels thinner than expected when cleaning algae off them.
BOTTOM LINE: At this price point, they're fun temporary decor rather than heirloom pieces. Perfect for sparking fishy curiosity, but check those loops carefully upon arrival!
