Let me start by saying, this OLEVS automatic watch is a stunner! The skeleton dial revealing the intricate gears is mesmerizing – it's like wearing a tiny mechanical masterpiece on your wrist. I found myself constantly catching glances at it throughout meetings, and yes, I got several compliments too.
The 42mm face with Roman numerals and diamonds strikes a perfect balance between classic elegance and modern flair. What surprised me most was how comfortable the stainless steel bracelet feels – no pinching or hair-pulling even during long wear. The butterfly clasp gives it such a sleek profile too.
Now about that automatic movement – it's fascinating to watch the rotor spin as you move your wrist. However, like one reviewer mentioned, it does stop after about 5 hours of inactivity. I've made it part of my nightly routine to give it a few winds before bed, which actually feels quite satisfying.
The multi-calendar display (showing year/month/date/day) is incredibly useful in daily life. No more mental math when signing documents! Though I will say the luminous hands could be brighter – they're visible but not super legible in complete darkness.
Water resistance has held up perfectly through handwashing and rain exposure. Just remember not to actually swim with it despite the 30ATM rating (better safe than sorry with mechanical watches).
A couple minor downsides: The presentation box does feel a bit cheap compared to the watch itself, and one of my diamond markers is slightly off-center upon close inspection. But at this price point, these are forgivable quirks for what's otherwise an exceptional timepiece.
After two months of daily wear, I can confidently say this watch punches way above its weight class in terms of both style and functionality. It's converted me into an automatic watch enthusiast – just like that reviewer who now owns seven!
