Let me start by saying these Soda SWEETEN ankle booties are seriously adorable. The multi-strap design gives them such a chic, elevated look that works with everything from jeans to dresses. I've worn mine on date nights and even to the office (paired with slacks) and got compliments both times!
The 1.25" block heel is my favorite part - just enough lift to feel polished but still comfortable for all-day wear. As someone who walks a lot during work hours, I appreciated not having that "get me out of these shoes" feeling by noon. The synthetic PU material looks surprisingly high-end for the price point.
Now for the important stuff: sizing. I'm usually a solid size 8 and found these true-to-size lengthwise, but several reviewers (and my own experience) noticed they can run tight in two key areas: the ball of the foot and heel. If you have wider feet or high arches, definitely consider sizing up or opting for the wide width version.
A few pro tips from my experience: 1) Wear thinner socks at first while breaking them in 2) The side zip makes them easy to get on/off 3) They don't stretch much being synthetic material, so don't count on significant give over time.
At this price point ($30-$40 range), they're an amazing value if they fit you right. I'd recommend ordering your usual size first to try (thanks to free returns!) and sizing up if needed. For those they fit well? You'll probably end up buying multiple colors like many reviewers!
