After putting the Thule Urban Glide 3 through its paces on everything from mountain trails to sandy beaches, I can confidently say this stroller lives up to its reputation. The full-suspension system and air-filled tires make bumpy terrain feel like a smooth sidewalk – my toddler naps peacefully even on our rocky country roads.
The one-handed folding mechanism is a game-changer for busy parents. I can collapse it while holding my coffee (or wrangling my dog) and it stands upright on its own. Though not ultra-compact when folded, it fits perfectly in my Subaru Outback's trunk once I remove the rear wheels – a 30-second process.
Where this stroller truly shines is during active use. The twist hand brake gives me confidence pushing 60 lbs of kids downhill, while the lightweight frame (for a jogger) makes uphill climbs manageable. I added a third-party wrist leash extension for safety during runs – highly recommend this $15 upgrade.
The storage basket holds essentials but could be larger. I purchased aftermarket cupholders that work better than Thule's flimsy official accessory. The seat recline doesn't go completely upright, which some parents dislike, but I appreciate how this design keeps the stroller balanced during runs.
Two minor gripes: The new parking brake feels cheap compared to the rest of the sturdy construction, and assembly instructions could be clearer. But after six months of daily use through all seasons, this remains my favorite parenting purchase – worth every penny for active families.
