Let me start by saying this mini split stand LOOKS like a tank – thick steel construction, powder-coated finish, and a weight capacity that could probably hold a small elephant (okay, maybe just 400 lbs). I installed it for my 18,000 BTU unit, and the adjustable height (4-12 inches) was perfect for keeping my condenser safely above muddy spring puddles.

The GOOD: When assembled correctly, this thing is SOLID. No wobbles even during heavy compressor vibrations. The rubber pads (if you get them!) actually make a noticeable difference in noise reduction – my neighbor’s dog stopped giving me the side-eye during AC startup. The corrosion-resistant coating has held up through two salty winters without rust.

The BAD: Like several reviewers, I got UNLUCKY with missing parts – no rubber foot pads in my box either. Had to improvise with hockey pucks (true story). Also, the installation hardware is bare minimum – bring your own washers if you want extra stability.

PRO TIP: Fully inspect EVERY component before installation day! The stand itself is high quality, but QC issues mean you might play ‘parts detective’ with customer service. Overall? Would buy again (from a different seller) because when complete, it’s the best budget stand I’ve used.
