After testing this 110V tankless water heater in my RV for 3 months, I'm torn between its clever design and frustrating limitations. The touchscreen and remote control feel futuristic, and it does deliver instant hot water... when conditions are perfect.
The Good: When installed in my bathroom sink with reduced flow, it produced satisfyingly hot water (45°C) within seconds. The IPX4 waterproofing gave me peace of mind during shower tests, and the anti-scald feature worked reliably. For handwashing or quick kitchen tasks, it's surprisingly effective.
The Reality Check: Like several reviewers experienced, achieving consistent performance requires near-trickle flow rates. My breaker tripped twice before I realized this unit really needs dedicated 20A circuits - forget using it with hair dryer outlets. The promised 'instant' heating becomes 'intermittent' when trying to fill a bathtub.
Pro Tip: If you must buy this, pair it with a low-flow (1.5GPM) faucet aerator. I modified my RV showerhead to 1.2GPM and finally got stable warm water - though at that point you're basically taking a 'hot mist' shower.
Final Verdict: A clever but flawed solution best suited for off-grid sinks where space matters more than performance. For $150, you're paying for compactness over reliability. I'm keeping mine for emergency use but wouldn't depend on it as a primary heater.
