Let me start by saying this fabric is an absolute conversation starter. The 3D printed police car design pops with vibrant colors that look even better in person than in product photos. I used it to recover a boring ottoman in my game room, and now it's the first thing guests notice!
The good stuff: The waterproof polyester held up surprisingly well when I spilled soda during a movie night - just wiped clean with a damp cloth. After three washes (cold cycle, gentle detergent), the colors haven't faded one bit. At 58" wide, you get decent coverage for the price.
Watch out for: Like another reviewer mentioned, this fabric ravels like crazy. My sewing machine ate about 6 inches before I learned to use pinking shears and wider seams. The medium weight feels durable until you handle the edges - they fray if you just look at them wrong.
Pro tip: I wouldn't use this for high-traffic furniture like dining chairs. While waterproof, the polyester doesn't have that sturdy canvas feel some of us DIYers prefer. It works perfectly though for throw pillows or craft projects where edges can be hidden.
The price stings a bit ($18/yard when I bought it), but considering how unique the print is and its washability, I'd buy again for special projects. Just stock up on fray check!
