Let me start by saying this mount is a lifesaver for those of us living in modern apartments with metal studs. I recently installed it for my 65" TV, and the wide design allowed me to hit multiple studs - something other mounts couldn't achieve.
The installation process was surprisingly straightforward, though I did encounter a few hiccups. Like several reviewers mentioned, the built-in level is completely unreliable. I learned this the hard way when my TV hung noticeably crooked after trusting their leveling tool. Always use a separate level - this can't be stressed enough!
Where this mount really shines is its sturdiness. My heavy plasma TV (which caused other mounts to fail) sits perfectly secure on this one. The tilt function works smoothly to reduce glare, and I love how close it keeps the TV to the wall (about 5.2 inches).
However, there are some quality control issues. About 30% of the included toggle bolts either didn't work or arrived damaged. Thankfully, they include extras, but you might still need to make a hardware store run like I did. The plastic snap toggles are particularly fragile - apply too much pressure and they'll break instantly.
The instructions could be clearer too. I found myself watching YouTube tutorials halfway through installation when the diagrams stopped making sense.
Despite these flaws, once properly installed, this mount delivers exceptional stability at a reasonable price point. Just budget extra time for troubleshooting and have your own level and possibly some extra hardware on hand.
