Let me start by saying I've used this double-sided tape for multiple projects around my home, from securing LED strip lights under my kitchen cabinets to hanging lightweight decor in my office.
The good: The length is fantastic - 164ft means you'll have plenty to work with for large projects. I successfully used it to mount a 10ft LED strip behind my TV, and after 2 months it's still holding strong. The thin profile (1mm) makes it nearly invisible when installed properly.
The not-so-good: Adhesion can be hit or miss. While it worked great on smooth surfaces like painted drywall and glass, it failed miserably when I tried using it on textured walls or in humid areas like my bathroom (despite cleaning the surface first). It's definitely not as thick or strong as premium 3M tapes.
Pro tip: For best results, apply firm pressure for at least 30 seconds after installation. I found using a roller tool helps create better adhesion than just pressing with fingers.
Bottom line: This is a decent budget option for lightweight applications on smooth surfaces, but don't expect industrial-strength performance. For heavy items or challenging surfaces, you'll want to invest in a higher-end tape.
