Let's talk about these Cashmeren cashmere socks that promise luxury and warmth. I've been wearing them for a few weeks now, and here's my honest take.
The good first: These socks are indeed lightweight and comfortable. They have a nice ribbed knit design that stays in place, and the cashmere feels soft against the skin. I've worn them around the house on chilly mornings, and they provide decent warmth without being bulky.
However, I have to agree with some negative reviews - they're not as thick or 'lavishly warm' as advertised. If you're expecting heavy winter socks, these might disappoint. They're more suitable for mild cold weather or indoor use.
The biggest issue? That ridiculous tag! It's huge, scratchy, and completely unnecessary for socks. I had to carefully cut mine out, which was stressful on such delicate fabric. Why would anyone think this was a good idea?
Durability is another concern. After just a few wears (and washes following the care instructions), I noticed some pilling starting to form. While cashmere does get softer over time, it also requires careful maintenance to prevent damage.
Would I buy them again? Maybe - but only on sale. At full price, I expected better quality control and more substantial warmth. They're nice enough for occasional use but don't quite live up to their premium claims.
