Let me start by saying these sunglasses with a built-in camera are a quirky little gadget that definitely turns heads. I've been using them for about a month now during my morning bike rides and weekend hikes, and they're... interesting.
The good stuff first: The convenience factor is real. Just pop in a microSD card (not included, which is annoying), put them on, and you're recording. No fussing with mounts or worrying about dropping your phone while trying to film. The loop recording feature works as advertised - when the card fills up, it just overwrites the oldest files.
Video quality is decent for the price - we're talking basic 1080p that's fine for casual use but don't expect GoPro-level clarity. I found it works best in bright daylight; low-light performance is pretty bad. The Bluetooth music feature was a nice surprise though - pairing was easy and sound quality through the included earbuds is acceptable.
Now the not-so-good: These are chunky sunglasses. Like, really chunky. After an hour or so, they start feeling heavy on my nose and the arms press uncomfortably against my temples. Battery life is another weak point - I consistently got about 1 hour 45 minutes of recording time before needing a recharge.
Would I recommend them? If you want an affordable, fun gadget for capturing casual adventures without carrying extra equipment, sure. But serious content creators or those wanting premium quality should look elsewhere.
