Let me start by saying this Pawfly feeding set has been a lifesaver for my shrimp tank. The glass construction feels premium - thick, smooth, and crystal clear. No worrying about chemicals leaching into the water, which was my main concern with plastic alternatives.
The 8-inch tube with suction cups fits perfectly in my 10-gallon tank. I position it so the top is just above water level (pro tip from another user!) to prevent food drifting. The funnel design makes feeding so much easier - no more food particles floating everywhere. My cherry shrimp actually crawl up the tube to eat algae off the sides!
The included white stopper works wonders at keeping curious shrimp from swimming up too far. I've never had any get stuck, which was a relief after some horror stories I'd heard about other feeders.
Now for the minor drawbacks: The feeding dishes are smaller than I expected. While they do catch most food, some ambitious eaters can still scatter bits around. If you have very active fish, you might want to look for a model with a larger dish or one attached directly to the tube.
Cleaning is a breeze - just some warm soapy water does the trick. After months of use, there's no cloudiness or scratches on the glass.
Bottom line: This is an excellent solution for targeted feeding in shrimp tanks or tanks with bottom feeders. It's reduced waste significantly in my setup and made feeding time much less messy. Just be aware of the dish size if you have larger aquatic pets.
