Let's talk about this Ichigo Kurosaki figure from McFarlane Toys. First off, the detail is impressive - they really nailed his Thousand-Year Blood War look with that integrated Soul Reaper/Fullbring design. The soft goods clothing is a game-changer compared to plastic outfits, draping naturally and adding realism.
Where this figure shines: The 7" scale feels perfect for display, and the 22 points of articulation (mostly) allow for dynamic posing. The included Zangetsu sword has great heft and scale, while the extra hands let you switch up displays. At around $25, it's decent value for Bleach merch-starved fans.
Now the BIG frustration: NO wrist articulation! For a sword-wielding character, this is criminal. You're basically stuck with one signature pose - sword resting on shoulders. Want battle stances? Bankai poses? Forget it. This makes much of the other articulation pointless. Strangely, their Yhwach figure got wrist joints right!
The paint apps could be sharper (some edges look rushed), and more accessories would've been nice. Also be warned - some shipments arrived missing the sword (mine was fine though).
Final verdict? As a display piece capturing Ichigo's iconic look - great. As an action figure for posing? Severely limited by that wrist issue. Diehard Bleach fans will still want it, but temper your expectations for playability.
