After testing the Z&L HOUSE 2-Tier Bamboo Shoe Rack for several weeks, I have mixed feelings. On one hand, it's a decent budget-friendly option for basic shoe storage. On the other, its limitations become apparent with regular use.
The assembly was surprisingly easy - I had it put together in about 8 minutes. All parts fit well and the included tools made the process smooth. The bamboo material looks nice and adds a natural touch to my entryway.
However, the rack feels quite flimsy when loaded. With just 3 pairs of average-sized shoes per shelf, I noticed visible sagging in the middle. The lack of center support is definitely a design flaw. My husband's size 12 sneakers hung over the edge by about an inch.
The stackable feature works as advertised, though stacking more than two units makes the whole structure unstable. I wouldn't trust it in high-traffic areas where it might get bumped.
For $25, it's an okay solution if you only need to store lightweight flats or sandals. But if you have larger shoes or want something more durable, I'd recommend investing in a sturdier model with better support.
