Let me start by saying these diapers are *incredibly* soft. Like, 'forget-you're-wearing-them' level of comfort. The SmartCool breathability is no joke - I wore them during a heatwave and never felt that swampy discomfort some brands give you.
The Dry-Lock core is legit impressive. I put it to the test during a long road trip (we're talking 8+ hours) and it handled multiple voids without making me feel like I was sitting in a puddle. The Confidence Cuff protection held up too - no embarrassing leaks when shifting positions in the car seat.
But here's where things get frustrating. The sizing feels off compared to previous versions. My waist is 38" and while technically within range, the tabs now wrap way too far around, leaving gaps at the sides. I actually had a leakage incident during sleep because of this.
The quality changes are noticeable if you've used older versions. The side padding reduction is real - I can literally see where they cut corners (pun intended). And don't get me started on those weaker tabs! Had one rip clean off during adjustment, which never happened with their previous design.
For overnight use? Still decent if you don't move much. But for active daytime wear or side-sleepers, you might want to consider doubling up with boosters now. It's a shame because when these work well (like during my work-from-home days), they're genuinely comfortable and discreet under clothing.
Bottom line: They're still better than most drugstore brands, but not the premium product they used to be. At this price point, I expected better consistency from a brand that hospitals trust.
