I recently got my hands on the NACARUM caution flags, and let me tell you, they are a game-changer for marking hazardous areas and property boundaries. The bright yellow color and bold 'CAUTION' lettering are impossible to miss, even from a distance.
I used these flags to mark off a steep drop-off near my driveway after some vegetation was cleared. The mail carrier had refused to deliver mail due to the danger, but after stringing up these flags, everyone can now see the hazard clearly. The flags flap in the wind, drawing attention even when you're not looking directly at them.
The durability is impressive - we've had heavy winds and rain, but the double-stitched flags stay firmly attached to the rope. Unlike cheaper options I've tried, these don't fray or tear easily. The 500lb OSHA rating gives me confidence they'll hold up under stress.
One thing to note: the printing is only on one side of each flag. This wasn't an issue for my needs, but if you need messages visible from both directions, you might want to consider that. Also, while highly visible during daylight, they aren't reflective for nighttime use.
I particularly appreciate how easy they are to install - I used stakes at either end with a cone in the middle for support (the rope does sag without middle support). At 36 feet long with generous flag spacing, they cover more area than standard caution tape.
After two months of continuous outdoor use through various weather conditions, my set still looks as good as new. For anyone needing clear visual warnings for construction sites, property boundaries, or hazardous areas, these flags offer excellent value and performance that cheaper alternatives just can't match.
