I've been using the OSITO abs stimulator for about a month now, and I have some mixed feelings about it. The idea of getting a workout while sitting on my couch was too tempting to resist, so I gave it a shot.
First off, the device is super portable and easy to use. I love that I can stick the gel pads on my abs and go about my day - watching TV, working at my desk, or even cooking dinner. The 10 different modes and 25 intensity levels give you plenty of options to find what works for you.
However, I need to be honest - this isn't a magic solution for six-pack abs. While it does create noticeable muscle contractions (which feel like someone is gently poking your muscles from the inside), it's not going to replace actual exercise. Where it really shines is in muscle recovery. After intense workouts, using this on lower intensities helps relieve soreness surprisingly well.
The battery life is decent - about 100 minutes per charge as advertised. The gel pads stay sticky through multiple uses if you clean them properly after each session. Just be careful when removing them - one user mentioned skin irritation, so I always peel them off slowly.
Would I recommend it? If you're looking for a way to complement your existing fitness routine or help with muscle recovery, yes. But if you're expecting dramatic results without any other exercise, you'll probably be disappointed.
