Just got this 3-pack mount kit for my Blink Outdoor 4 cameras, and here's the real deal after testing it out for a couple weeks.
The good stuff first: Installation was stupid easy. The 360° rotation is legit—no blind spots when positioning the cameras. The ABS plastic feels durable (not cheap flimsy plastic), and I love how the sync module mount keeps cables tidy. No more spaghetti wires behind my TV stand!
But... there are quirks. One mount’s clip alignment was slightly off, making it annoying to secure (had to really force it). Also, while the weatherproof housing protects well, removing the plug for charging requires some finger gymnastics. And heads up—this ONLY works with Blink Outdoor 4th gen (my friend’s XT2 was a no-go).
Mixed bag on motion detection too. My driveway cam misses actual deliveries but somehow records tree shadows at night? Weird. Battery life varies wildly—one camera lasts weeks, another dies fast (might be my Wi-Fi signal’s fault though).
Verdict? For the price, it’s solid if you manage expectations. Not luxury-tier, but gets the job done with minor frustrations.
