Okay, so I finally caved and bought this 16-disc Harry Potter 4K UHD set after debating between the different editions. Let me break down my thoughts for fellow Potterheads!
The 4K visuals are absolutely STUNNING, especially on my new HDR TV. The later movies (Half-Blood Prince through Deathly Hallows) really show off the upgrade compared to standard Blu-ray.
Quick heads up though - the 4K discs are just the movies with no special features. All the bonus content is on the included standard Blu-rays (which have different extras for each film).
I do kinda wish they'd included all the Hogwarts Collection extras in this set (that massive 31-disc version looks amazing but was out of my budget). Still, for pure movie-watching magic in glorious 4K? Totally worth it.
Pro tip: If you're buying this internationally, consider getting a region-free player. Some discs have language restrictions that aren't super clearly marked.
Final verdict? If you're upgrading your collection and care about picture quality over bonus features, this is a fantastic way to experience the Wizarding World in ultra HD!
