Just installed my third ecobee thermostat and overall, I'm loving it! The auto-schedule feature is genius - after a week it basically programs itself based on my temperature preferences. The motion-activated display showing time/weather is such a cool bonus when I walk by.

Installation was smooth once I figured out the wiring (those YouTube tutorials saved me). The PEK kit worked perfectly for my setup. My HVAC tech wasn't kidding when he recommended this - the energy savings from the geofencing feature are noticeable already.

That said, I wish there was more flexibility with temperature settings. The 45°F minimum is frustrating for my garage space where I just need freeze protection. Had to use the temp offset workaround which makes the display inaccurate. Also wish it had sunlight compensation built-in instead of needing separate sensors.

For the price, it's packed with smart features and looks sleek on my wall. Though fair warning UK buyers - apparently this model doesn't play nice with most British boilers!
