Let me start by saying I had high hopes for this portable modem. The promise of 300Mbps speeds and a built-in 3200mAh battery sounded perfect for my frequent business trips. The setup was straightforward - just popped in my SIM card and powered it on.
The good: When it worked, the speed was impressive. I could comfortably stream HD videos during a train journey, and connecting multiple devices (tested with 3 simultaneously) didn't noticeably slow things down. The compact size is genuinely convenient - it fits perfectly in my laptop bag's side pocket.
Now the not-so-good: The power button is frustratingly unresponsive at times. I've had to press it multiple times to turn the device on/off, which gets old fast. Battery life is decent but not amazing - I got about 6 hours of continuous use before needing a recharge.
The dealbreaker for me was the reliability issues. Like some other reviewers mentioned, mine stopped working properly after about a week of use. It would randomly disconnect, requiring a full restart. Customer support was... less than helpful.
Would I recommend it? Only with major caveats. If you need something temporary and can get it at a deep discount, maybe. But for serious travelers or remote workers who depend on consistent connectivity, there are better options out there despite this one's appealing specs on paper.
