Let me start by saying this projector blew my expectations out of the water. The 4K resolution with Dolby Vision is absolutely stunning - I recently watched Dune on it and could see every grain of sand in the desert scenes. The colors pop thanks to that HDR10+ support, making Marvel movies look particularly vibrant.
The auto-focus feature is a lifesaver. I move my projector between my living room and backyard frequently, and it adjusts perfectly within seconds every time. No more fiddling with manual focus knobs like my old projector required!
Sound quality is decent for built-in speakers, though serious audiophiles will want external ones (I connected mine to a Sonos system via Bluetooth). The WiFi 6 connection streams Netflix flawlessly - I've binge-watched entire seasons without a single buffer.
Setup was surprisingly easy. The 6D keystone correction automatically squared the image on my slightly angled wall, and the zoom function let me perfectly size the picture without moving the unit. Though fair warning - like most projectors, direct phone mirroring for streaming apps doesn't work due to copyright restrictions.
At this price point, the Kogata delivers premium features usually found in much more expensive models. Whether for movie nights, gaming, or even work presentations, it's become the centerpiece of my entertainment setup.
