Okay, so my dad's been struggling with swallowing lately, and we've been trying different thickeners. This Clear DysphagiAide stuff? Mostly great!

The individual packets are SUPER convenient when we're out - just toss a few in the bag and we're good to go. No more worrying about measuring scoops at restaurants.

It works really well with water and juice (no weird taste!), but heads up - it clumped like crazy when we tried it in protein shakes. Had to stir like I was making whipped cream!

The thickness seems just right for nectar consistency (Level 2), though some reviewers said they needed way more powder than expected. We didn't have that issue.

Big warning though - if you or your loved one is diabetic, check with the doctor first! Turns out it's got maltodextrin which can spike blood sugar. Learned that the hard way when mom's levels went up.

Overall? Solid 4/5 stars. Super helpful product, just needs some trial and error to get it right. Would recommend trying a small pack first before committing to bulk.
