Okay, so I've been testing these Vital Guard adult diapers for my mom who's been having some bladder issues lately. Here's the real tea:
The good stuff first - these are surprisingly comfy! The material feels soft against the skin, not that plasticky feel some brands have. Mom says she forgets she's wearing them sometimes during the day.
Absorbency is decent for light to moderate leaks. I did a weird science experiment (don't judge) with about 4 cups of water and it held up okay, though there was some side leakage when I folded it. Real-life pee probably spreads differently though.
The fit is nice with elastic legs and waistband - stays in place without being too tight. My mom's about 5'4" and medium fits her well, but taller folks might find them a bit short in the back.
Now the not-so-great: They do puff up when wet (obviously) and you can kinda feel the dampness after a while. Not great for overnight if you're a heavy wetter - might need to change once or twice.
Biggest complaint? They only come in white which feels very 'diaper-y'. Wish they had neutral colors to feel more like regular underwear.
Final verdict: Solid 7/10. Good for daytime use if you don't mind the medical look, but might need something heavier for nights.
