Let me start by saying – I was skeptical about the 'anti-colic' claims at first. But after 3 months of using these bottles for my fussy newborn, I get the hype. The vent system REALLY works – my baby went from screaming after every feed to actually keeping milk down. The difference in spit-up stains on my shoulders is proof enough.
The included brush is a game-changer for cleaning those tiny vent parts (yes, there are many pieces – but the brush gets into every nook). Pro tip: Soak all parts in warm soapy water immediately after feeding to prevent milk crust buildup in the green vent piece.
I love that it comes with both 4oz and 8oz bottles. We use the smaller ones for daytime feeds and the larger ones at night – no more half-asleep bottle refills at 3AM! The nipple transition system is brilliant too; we're now comfortably on medium flow without having to buy all new bottles.
Two real-talk downsides: 1) They WILL leak if you over-tighten (learned this the messy way) and 2) The pacifier that comes with it? My baby treats it like a foreign object – apparently bottle nipple shape doesn't automatically mean pacifier acceptance!
For parents debating between brands: If your baby struggles with gas/reflux, these are worth the extra cleaning effort. But if you want minimalist bottle washing, look elsewhere.
