Okay, so I finally caved and bought the Nokia 105 4G after my smartphone addiction got out of hand. Here's my honest take after using it for a month.
The Good: This thing is RUGGED. I've dropped it twice (oops) and it's still kicking. Battery life? Insane. I charge it once a week with moderate calling/texting. The buttons are satisfyingly clicky - takes me back to my Snake-playing days.
The Bad: The interface feels like it was designed in 2005 (because... well...). Took me forever to figure out how to unlock it (protip: press * then #). And yeah, the call quality can be hit or miss depending on your network.
Who It's For: Parents wanting a kid's first phone, tech-resistant grandparents, or anyone needing a digital detox. My teenager hates it (which means I'm winning at parenting).
Bonus: That little flashlight has saved me during multiple power outages. Not bad for $30!
