Okay, so I've been wearing these high-waisted shapewear shorts for about two weeks now, and here's the real tea...

First off - the comfort level is surprisingly good! I was expecting that awful sausage-roll squeezing feeling, but these actually smooth everything out without making me feel like I'm in a medieval torture device. The waistband stays put even when I'm running errands or sitting at my desk all day.

The fabric is thicker than I expected - not see-through at all which is great. Though fair warning, they do run a bit warm in summer weather. The leg openings are my favorite part because they don't dig in or create that awkward muffin top effect on your thighs.

Now for the not-so-great: The sizing is tricky. I ordered my usual size and had to exchange for one size up. And while they do provide decent smoothing, if you're expecting magic waist-whittling results... manage those expectations, ladies. They're good but not miraculous.

Final verdict? Solid 4/5 stars. Perfect for everyday wear under dresses or with high-waisted jeans, but maybe not your go-to for super tight outfits.
