Okay, so I bought these Siyaluens artificial bougainvilleas because my balcony was looking sadder than a wilted salad. The pictures showed this lush, vibrant explosion of flowers - Instagram vs. reality much?
First impression: The colors ARE actually really pretty! That rose red pops against my beige walls. From my neighbor's window (about 20 feet away), they could maybe pass as real? But up close... honey no. The leaves have this weird plastic sheen like they've been dipped in floor wax.
The 'fullness' situation is... questionable. I had to buy two sets to get anything resembling the product photos. Pro tip: fluff them out like you're styling a bad wig - it helps!
UV resistant? So far so good after 3 months in direct sunlight. My cat keeps trying to eat them though - guess they look tasty to someone with zero taste buds?
Would I buy again? For the price, yeah actually. They're not fooling anyone but they do add that pop of color I wanted without the commitment of real plants (RIP all my previous attempts at gardening). Just don't look too close!
