Okay, so I just finished 'Frozen Stiff' and wow - this book had me flipping pages like crazy! The whole FBI agent Chase Adams thing? Super cool. The mystery was twisty, the killer creepy, and that whole 'touching victims to see their last moments' ability? Mind-blowing.
I gotta say though, some parts felt a bit rushed. Like when Chase just hops on a plane to Alaska after one mysterious phone call? Girl, where's your common sense?! And don't get me started on Agent Martinez - dude was shady from the start.
The Alaska murder scenes were described so vividly I actually got chills (and not just from imagining the cold). That foot-cutting thing? Yikes! But what really got me was how Chase's visions helped solve the case - such a unique twist on your typical detective story.
Now for the real tea: I totally called who the killer was about halfway through. But here's the thing - even though I guessed it, watching Chase figure it out was still super satisfying. That final confrontation? Edge-of-my-seat stuff!
Would I recommend? Absolutely! It's not perfect (could use better editing), but if you want a fast-paced thriller with a badass female lead, this is your jam. Already downloaded book two!
