Just got my hands on the Yonex Muscle Power racket, and I'm pretty impressed! The carbon graphite frame feels sturdy, and the isometric head gives a nice sweet spot—perfect for those who miss the center sometimes (no shame).
First thing I noticed? The weight. It's not feather-light, but after a few games, my swings felt more powerful. Smashes actually have some oomph now! Though if you're used to super light rackets, it might take a week to adjust.
Biggest surprise? The grip. The default one is... meh. Had to replace it immediately with my favorite overgrip. Also, heads up—string tension feels lower than advertised (closer to 26 lbs vs. the claimed 30). Not a dealbreaker for casual play though.
The included cover is a nice bonus! Mine arrived with minor paint flaws (tiny red bleeds on the logo), and the grip had some residue from long storage. Weird, but doesn't affect performance.
Verdict? Great for intermediates who love attacking plays. Not ideal for net tricks—I still fumble those drop shots. Would rebuy, but maybe check manufacturing dates first!
