Let me start by saying, these Nicpro easels are a mixed bag. I used them for an outdoor art exhibition, and they definitely have their pros and cons.
The biggest win is the adjustability. Being able to tweak the height from 17" to 66" meant I could use them for everything from tabletop displays to full-size canvas presentations. The knobs are easy to turn, and the legs lock securely - even on uneven ground.
I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy they felt for aluminum easels. They held my largest canvases (about 24x36) without wobbling, though I wouldn't push them beyond that size despite the claimed 25-pound capacity.
The carrying cases, however, are frustratingly small. Like one reviewer mentioned, you really have to force everything in there. I ended up just carrying two easels without their bags because it wasn't worth the struggle.
A real safety concern - some edges are sharper than they should be. While setting up, I nicked my finger on one of the metal joints. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely something to be cautious about.
The spring clamp works well for standard canvases, though thicker panels might be tricky. For the price (especially considering you get six), these are decent value if you need multiple display options for events or shows.
Final verdict? Good for occasional use or beginners who need affordable, portable stands. Professionals might want something more heavy-duty.
