Okay, so I finally got this artificial grass mat for my backyard, and here's the tea ☕️.

First off, it looks surprisingly real! Like, from a distance, my neighbors totally thought I had a sudden green thumb. The 0.8" height gives it a lush feel without being too tall—perfect for my dog’s play area.

Installation was a breeze. Just rolled it out like a giant yoga mat (no DIY skills required). The drainage holes actually work? My backyard doesn’t turn into a swamp after rain anymore. Big win.

But… PSA for pet owners: my pup mistook it for his personal toilet 🚽. Cleaning is… an adventure. Hose it down? Sure. But if you’re squeamish about doggy business, maybe skip this or train them first.

The plastic smell out of the box was STRONG (like new sneakers x100). It faded after a week though. Also—pro tip—fluff the fibers with a broom if they get squashed.

Verdict: 8/10. Great for decor/play areas, but high-maintenance pets might make it gross fast. Would buy again… just not for my dog’s ‘bathroom zone’ 😂
